Master Lin spent well over 20 years with Grand Master Chang, taught at the Police College, and was named, “Big Brother” of the system. Although there were students that were senior at the time, this was due to his knowledge of Tang Lang, Hsing-I, etc. He did not necessarily want this title, and petitioned Grand Master Chang to allow him to be a “Little Brother”, but Grand Master Chang was not one to argue with.
Master Lin emphasized perfection of the foundations and realistic training situations. He was always in awe of Grand Master Chang’s abilities.
